Etsy product photography planned around buyer questions.

Plan the photos your Etsy buyer needs using real product references. Choose recognition, detail, scale, or context roles only when the evidence supports them, then review the files before manual upload.

Planning is available, but paid Studio image production is not generally available yet.

Listing photo planning

Plan Etsy listing images around buyer questions.

A strong Etsy image set can show the item clearly, make scale legible, reveal finish or personalization details, and place the product in a believable use context. Lystiva treats those as roles to review, not ranking promises.

Recognition

Make the product and its distinctive shape easy to identify.

Detail

Use a close view only when it shows a meaningful material or finish cue.

Context

Add a plausible scene without changing the product or inventing a use claim.

Give the first photo a clear product, not just a setting.

For a ceramic mug, a buyer should be able to inspect the body and handle before the room around it. In Lystiva's first-party illustrative method example, a wide terrace draft is rejected for the primary role because the mug reads too small. The example is not a customer result or proof of production availability.

Review the Etsy upload separately.

Choose Etsy as an explicit destination, review the supported files and copy, then download the package and upload it yourself. Lystiva does not connect to or publish to your shop, and preparing an export is not Etsy policy approval or a ranking or sales promise.

Review the source before the shop.

  • Compare finish, handle shape, labels, and included accessories with the actual product references.
  • Add another reference for an unseen side; confirm measurements before using a scale cue.
  • Preview the first-image crop and remove props that could be mistaken for part of the offer.
  • Use only roles the evidence supports. Recognition, detail, scale, and context are not four guaranteed outputs.
