Choose Photoroom when you need a fast, all-round editor.
Photoroom is strong at everyday photo cleanup at volume: background removal, batch edits, resizing, and quick AI backgrounds, on the phone or on the web. It also offers an API and a Shopify app that can write listing copy and push it to Shopify. If you sell mainly on Shopify, edit hundreds of photos at once, or want to work from a phone, it is a capable choice.

Lystiva is built around the listing rather than the edit. It records what your product actually is, plans images by the buyer question each one answers, and drafts the title and description from the same confirmed facts. Re-shoot changes only backdrop, surface, and lighting while the camera angle and pose stay locked, which suits sellers who need consistent, accurate catalog images. Etsy and WooCommerce sellers can send the result to their shop as a draft.

Using both is reasonable.

Is Lystiva cheaper than Photoroom?
Not on entry price: Photoroom Pro starts lower when billed yearly. Lystiva charges per generated image (1 credit, or 2 credits for four Economy square images) and includes listing copy and Etsy and WooCommerce connections.
Does Photoroom connect to Etsy?
We did not find a native Etsy or WooCommerce connection on Photoroom's integrations page as of October 22, 2026. It lists Shopify, Zapier, Make, and others.
Can Lystiva remove backgrounds?
Lystiva's Re-shoot Studio replaces backdrop, surface, and lighting around your accepted photo while keeping the angle and pose locked. It is not a standalone background-removal tool.
