Seller resource
Plan candle content around the product, not guessed benefits.
Show the candle a buyer will receive: its vessel, label, wick arrangement, and any included lid. Confirm scent, net quantity, and composition separately; neither a styled room nor a flame proves fragrance or burn performance.
Separate what a photo shows from what a candle does.
A buyer can inspect a vessel's shape or a lid in a photo, but cannot verify fragrance, wax composition, or burn duration from it. Decide which questions need an image and which need seller-confirmed product information.
- Provide a clear vessel and label reference, plus a top view showing the actual wick arrangement.
- Include the lid reference if a lid is sold with the candle; distinguish it from display props.
- Confirm dimensions, net quantity, scent, and wax composition before adding those details to the plan or copy.
Give the vessel and wick separate photo jobs.
Use a recognition role for the whole candle and a detail role for the vessel finish, wax surface, or wick. A contextual composition should not make the candle appear a different size or conceal its label. Add a missing view rather than asking a draft to invent the reverse of the vessel.
Inspect the offer before approving the atmosphere.
Compare wick count, vessel shape, label lettering, and lid with the references. Reject a draft that adds a wick, changes the container, or includes an accessory the buyer will not receive. Decorative placement is not evidence that a burning candle is safe to use in that setting.
Write scent and burn fields only from product data.
A listing draft can describe the visible vessel and confirmed included pieces. Fill a scent or burn-time field only when supporting product information exists. Flowers or fruit in a scene do not establish fragrance notes, and a visible flame does not establish a tested burn time.
Do not turn styling into a safety or sustainability claim.
Burn duration, non-toxicity, safety, sustainability, and wax type must not be derived from an image. Keep unconfirmed claims out of copy and review any use instructions against the real product information before downloading or manually using the draft.
