AI product image review checklist before publishing
Treat every AI-generated product image as a draft: compare it with the source, verify visible details and context, reject unsupported changes, and check the destination crop before export.
Start with product identity
Compare the draft with the accepted source. Check the silhouette, color cues, finish, distinctive marks, hardware, and any other visible detail a buyer would use to recognize the item.
- Ask whether the same product is recognizable across the set.
- Compare the draft against the source instead of trusting visual plausibility.
- Treat a changed or missing distinctive detail as a review issue.
Check what the image could imply
A scene can communicate more than the prompt intended. Look for implied dimensions, materials, included accessories, personalization, certification, performance, or use conditions that the source and seller have not confirmed.
Check buyer understanding and crop
The frame should make the intended buyer job clear without hiding the product behind props or excessive context. Preview the destination crop and reject a frame that loses the product or creates a misleading scale cue.
Keep the decision trail
Record why a frame was approved, rejected, or excluded. A short reason makes later export review easier and keeps an attractive but inaccurate draft from becoming the active version by accident.
